Will the AI make things up?
No. Answers are generated only from your own indexed pages, and every answer cites the pages it came from. If your content doesn't cover a question, Surge says so and logs it as a content gap, instead of guessing.
How long until my site is searchable?
Usually about three minutes. Enter your domain, Surge crawls and indexes your pages, and emails you a link when your search bar is ready.
What happens after the 2-week trial?
No credit card is needed to start. We email you before the trial ends. Pick a plan from €10/month to keep search live. If you don't, search pauses and your index is kept, so you can reactivate anytime. Nothing is charged automatically.
Does it work with my stack?
Yes. Surge ships headless React hooks, and everything is also available through a plain REST API, so it works with Next.js, Vue, Svelte, Astro, static sites, or anything that can make an HTTP request.
Is my content used to train AI models?
No. Every site gets its own isolated index. Your content never trains shared models and is never visible to other customers.
